Why You Should Visit the Champagne Region
The Champagne region is the birthplace of the world’s most famous sparkling wine, where the history of winemaking blends with royal heritage. In Reims, you’ll visit the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral, where French monarchs were crowned. In the cellars of ancient Champagne houses, you’ll uncover the secrets of the traditional "Champenoise" method. A trip to Epernay, the capital of Champagne, will transport you to a world of elegant boulevards and vineyards that stretch to the horizon. This journey is for those who appreciate the finer pleasures and want to discover how true celebration is born in every glass.

Places We’ll Visit and Explore:

1. Moët & Chandon Winery (Epernay)
We’ll start our tour at one of the world’s most famous wineries. Immerse yourself in the rich history of Moët & Chandon as we explore its vast cellars and learn about the champagne production process. We’ll finish the visit with a tasting of exquisite champagne, which has become a symbol of luxury and celebration.

2. Taittinger Winery (Reims)
Our journey continues with a visit to Taittinger. Discover the heritage of the Taittinger family, who have been producing some of the world’s finest champagne for centuries. We’ll stroll through the historic cellars and enjoy a tasting of their magnificent champagne.

Lunch at a Restaurant
Savor a delicious meal in a cozy restaurant in the heart of Reims, renowned for its dishes made with fresh local ingredients.

3. Reims Cathedral (Notre-Dame de Reims)
After lunch, we’ll visit the majestic Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral, where French kings were crowned. The grandeur of the Gothic architecture and the rich history of this site will leave you in awe.

4. Veuve Clicquot Winery (Reims)
Our final winery stop will be at the legendary Veuve Clicquot. Known for its innovative approach and exceptional quality, Veuve Clicquot has long been a leader in the champagne world. We’ll explore the underground cellars and indulge in a tasting of their unique champagne.

To wrap up the tour, we’ll either have a picnic among the vineyards (weather permitting) or head to a cozy wine bar for a final tasting.
